Honestly I was more of a PlayStation guy; I played Halo at friends houses before, but it wasn't my thing--I still respect it as it appeals to certain gamers for sure, and in the future I will probably play it. As for Tales of Borderlands, I will probably play it eventually--but right now I'm playing old school simply because i don't have the audio/visual equipment to do a good twitch stream, and would rather have that for modern games; honestly Borderlands wasn't my favorite game..but I don't hate it either--so depending on what happens I could end up playing it, but it likely won't be for a while.

In response to your post, Will turn 31 this month; to me "action games" are a very general term, unless you're referring to rhythm action like DDR or the website that's sort of like flash player minigames referred to as action games. I think you could consider RPG's, Shooters, fighting games, & side-scroller beat-em-ups as action games. In general, I like all genres as long as it's on a console. My favorite has always been RPG style, Final Fantasy III for SNES (released as VI in other countries) has always been my most beloved game, weirdly enough I am a big sports gamer, I tend to play those mostly but when I start to get bored switch to the adventure style games; but honestly I will play just about anything short of fun with numbers for Atari or SuperMan 64. One of my favorite styles was that of Return to Zork or King's Quest series back in the 90's for PC; and I also like comedy in my games..which is why Eric the Unready holds a special place in my heart as well.
