Lol, didn't learn your lesson after the first time? I think it's dumb fun, 6/10. The PC version plays better than the original 360 game. I'll take Bullet Witch over Genshin Impact or any of the other fucking "live-service" garbage the market is full of these days.

A good collection for old fans of the series and newcomers alike. You get five great Castlevania games, two awful ones (Simon's Quest, The Adventure) and the previously Japan-exclusive Kid Dracula. It would have been even better if they included Legends (also on the Game Boy) and Rondo of Blood on here, but oh well... a girl can still dream.

Probably the closest we'll ever get to a new F-Zero game.

Runs at an average of 14 frames per second!

Managed to make turnbased combat fun and inventive during a time when it was boring and stale.

Calling the most influential and important 3D game trash - stay classy MVGL.

Too hard? This game is fairer than Castlevania 1 or 3, you got magic spells, a double jump + glide and the levels are usually full of health power ups if you look closely. The time limit is also never an issue. Bosses are tough, but they wouldn't be bosses if you could defeat them on the first try. My only complaint are a couple of pixel perfect jumps you have to make here and there, but other than that this game is easier than Actraiser 1, which has a brutal boss marathon at the end.

It's not unplayable, but the false 3D that Mode 7 created for this game mixed with the floaty controls really makes it hard to tell where exactly you're driving. Also, why is half the screen filled with the damn map? Worst Mario Kart game by far.

I'll wait until all the major technical issues have been fixed. In its current state this game doesn't look very appealing.

I wanted to like this but Wipeout as a whole is just not as good as Fast Racing Neo or F-Zero.

I got ALL 456 gems and all flashback tapes but that's where I stopped. The game becomes mercilessly difficult if you're going for all the time trial relics, perfect relics and flashback relics, which are needed for the secret endings. That being said, Crash 4 is still easily the best platformer I've played since Rayman Legends.

Since this was an early DS game, they had to throw in the silly gimmick where you have to draw seals to give the bosses the final blow. It's a minor gripe but otherwise you get a very good metroidvania here. Souls can now be upgraded unlike in Aria of Sorrow and Julius Mode also improved a lot.

Not as good as I remember it. Soma is way too strong and has way too much health, making 3/4 of the game way too easy. Many of the bosses are simply recycled from SOTN, the castle designs is also one of the worst in any of the metroidvanias - some areas are cheaply mirrored and others don't make sense at all (hidden gardens). Soundtrack reaches from earpearcingly annoying to mediocre at best (the awful CPU-chip of the GBA doesn't help). It's also probably the shortest Metroidvania, I was able to finish it within only 4 hours. Better than Symphony of the Night? Absolutely not.

One of the weirder entries in the Castlevania series. The Adventure was an early Game Boy title released between Simon's Quest and Dracula's Curse. There are no subweapons here and your character moves painfully slow, yet the game requires you to pull of pixel perfect jumps and dodges. I can't recommend this to anyone, you're much better off playing Belmont's Revenge.

Lower average score than Simon's Quest (5.4) on here, which is just ridiculous. At the time of its release it received mediocre reviews but it's actually much closer to classic Castlevania than any of the 3D games in the series that would follow. Its biggest issues are the wonky camera and uneven level design but despite all that, I enjoy it quite a bit.

I really wanted to finish this at some point but it's just a terrible game outside of the iconic soundtrack. The main challenge here aren't the enemies or bossfights (they're ridiculously easy) but knowing what to do and where to go. Conceptually, Simon's Quest is a unique precursor to Symphony of the Night but as a game it fails.

Great art design, colourful graphics, lots of customization, weapons, an upgrade system for your machines, mini games, story arcs for every character duo and a really pleasant soundtrack - this could have been a fantastic mix of Mario Kart Double Dash and Wave Race, but unfortunately the track design is often lackluster and the AI basically nonexistent, making the game far too easy. Still, I had some fun with Kandagawa Jet Girls.

Role reversal (horror) games seem to be big this year - The Destroy All Humans Remake, Predator - Hunting Grounds, Maneater and now Carrion. I like the pixel art and controls in this one, but the biomass feature is annoying and the level design could have been much better. Also, the parts where you play as a human are downright bad.

Being a gluttonous bull shark who terrorises beaches feels strangely relaxing.

sealpiskibulk73

Overrated, one of the worst jrpgs out there.

The combat IS very repetitive and can become exhausting in some of the later chapters, so I can understand why someone would find it medicore. I still like this game (and its sequel even more) for its unique feeling of freedom when altering gravity.

Incredible soundtrack, even for an Ys game. If you're not gonna play it, at least listen to the OST. Thank me later.

My least favourite of the GBA Castlevanias. The level design is simply bad, controls aren't as good and the character and monster animations feel very stiff too. Visually it's also lackluster, even for an early GBA title.

Beyond: Two Souls is even worse than Heavy Rain (quite the accomplishment!) in terms of writing - proving once again that David Cage is a talentless hack.
