Hey all! Name's Mouse and I used to be an avid gamer and I'm trying to get back into the groove. I'm all for new games and suggestions that I haven't heard of before. I'm a big anime/manga fan as well a big film addict. I'm glad to be starting off in the community and feel free to chat with me about games or anything.
I have a hard time finishing video games nowadays, so I decided to start a let's play channel just in the hopes of me buckling down and finishing some of the games in both my backlog and games that I love to play and want to review XD. My favourite game series is Fire Emblem and certainly isn't restricted to such. Video games is an awesome medium to experience both amazing story and damn good gameplay that will keep you addicted for weeks at a time. So if you are down for giving me a recommendation for a game I haven't been privy to, just send me a comment.

Sorry for talking more than I should. Mass Effect is very dear to me so I get a little excited. And heh sorry for flooding you with comments. Expect ME2 to be a lot different from ME1 too. Imo, its better. Its got better gameplay, better graphics, better story, better characters, its pace is MUCH faster and there IS NO MAKO!! Yay!! (Mako was the annoying vehicle, dont know if you remember it). This is why is put it in my faves. Its not that the other two games are bad, but this one is the one I loved the most. A warning though. Remember what kind of game ME is. It?s 60% walking around, 15% cutscenes, 10% buying and customising guns/ammo, and the little rest is gameplay. Ive made the mistake of recommending this game to people who are more of FPS players, and now they wont play anything I recommend them. So yeah, if you?re not into this type of game, don't play it cause youre bound to hate it:/
If you enjoyed ME1, then I DEFINITELY suggest playing the rest of the trilogy. Don't stop at ME2 because you'll be missing out a great game. Plus, ME2 ends in such a cliffhanger, you?ll probably jump on ME3 right after you finish it anyway ^^ To me, what I call the ?Mass Effect experience" is only FULLY appreciated once you?ve played all three games.

Thanks for the list a lot dude. I'm really excited about Zelda games and One Piece since I'm huge fan of One Piece. I was really disappointed about Pirate Warriors on PS3. Well, I'm not a graphics freak, so I hope it's gonna be awesome experience for me. Thank you again ;) I will try some of them.

I will keep the hacks in mind. I only have FE5 to finish and I might play FE3 as well. The NES games don't seem like they aged well. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping we see a new Fire Emblem on the Wiiu. How amazing would that be?

Yeah, it's a great FE, completely different from any of the FE's that came after... for one it's epic on a grand scale. For example you can use all 24 characters on the map all at once, also instead of just one objective to complete you have 3 or 4(maps are huuuuge) also you can pair the units up and make them fall in love(they have children too). The fan translation is also much better compared to Tharcia(what a mess that one is) if you want the translation file you can download it here https://www.dropbox.com/s/vvl2vue65syyx85/fe4.ips just get that file, rename it so the file you just downloaded and the rom file's names are identical(must be in same folder too) Then start the game up and it should be in english, easy. Hope you enjoy it, it's pretty intense, after you finish it you should find an appreciation for Tharcia.
I'm not sure how far into it you are. I'm on chapter 11 myself so i've got a ways to go as well. You shouldn't be relying on jegans too often. Some of the later maps are extremely creative and there are some cool characters. I would highly recommend you stop playing Thracia(5) right now and pick up Genealogy of the Holy War(4). Fire Emblem 4 and 5 are interconnected and FE4's story comes waaay before FE5's. If you continue playing Tharcia you're going to ruin the amazing story of Genealogy of the Holy War.

I was actually asking which Fire Emblems you've played lol. Those are 2 of my favorite games too. As for music, well, I listen to a lot of unknown bands but the genres I listen to include: Hardcore Punk, Post Hardcore, Metal, Metalcore, Progressive Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Post Punk, Post Rock/Metal, Screamo/Emo, Rap and even some pop. Basically I'll listen to anything other than country and mainstream radio. I also like video game/ anime soundtracks.
I can relate with you there... you mention video games to someone and the first thing they mention is Call of Duty or something, I mean they are decent games but i'm tired of hearing about them since it's the only thing people ever play. Well their loss I say hah, Sacred Stones is very good it's not one of my favorites but all FE games are awesome. I think the one thing I dislike are how many monster units are in that game but the story and amazing characters more than make up for it. Joshua and Marisa are some of the most bad arse swordmasters ever. What are some of the games you have played?
I agree with ya! I feel like it's such an under appreciated series even if Awakening helped bring it back into the spot light. Favorites would have to be Fire Emblem(GBA), Radiant Dawn and I started playing 4 and 5 on my modded Wii. Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War definitely makes the list and I'm about half way through Thracia and enjoying it very much. What about you?

Yeah, the plot of that Sacred Stones was great, it just felt so concise yet well put together. It's kind of shame it never really got a chance to shine in Smash Bros; seeing Ephraim or Eirika playable would have been really interesting (and a lance-wielder would've shook things up). And thank you! Yeah, TWEWY was definitely one of the greats of last gen, it used that touch screen so well and had such an interesting story. And that soundtrack... it was fantastic!

Unfortunately, i do not have any nintendo consoles. I'm not into Mario or Zelda actually. I'll try to run Majoras Mask on my PC someday if you rate it so high. There is a HD collection with Shadow Of The Collosus and Ico on PS3, so I think I gotta get it.
