Scooby-Doo! in The Ghosts of Pirate Beach

Scooby-Doo! in The Ghosts of Pirate Beach is a browser game starring the whole gang. Pirates have kidnapped a team of archaeologists who were looking for the ancient buried treasure of the pirate Redbeard and are scaring the tourists away from the city. Thus, the mayor invites Mystery Inc. to help locate the treasure and uncover the mystery of the ghosts of Pirate Beach.

There are two types of gameplay for this game and they depend on the area players go to:

• In the docks, players must click on characters to talk to and suspicious areas to find new clues.
• On the beach and in the caves, the perspective changes to a top-down view and players control one of the members of the gang while they look for objects and dig them up using the shovel and metal detector they found in the docks. There are locked doors which players can open with keys they dig up on the beach and in the caves.

Each member of the gang acts as a life meaning that if a pirate comes into contact with the protagonist, they will be scared off and players will switch to a different member of the gang. Players can dig up holes to trap the pirates chasing them. In the caves, they will need to collect batteries for their flashlight to be able to see where they should go.
