Good but the jump scares were too excessive for my taste. Still I loved the story and concepts.
I have to agree that it was better than the main game. The main game had a lot of fetch quest you had to do while also trying to hide from the variants, which were honestly frustrating and ruined the submersion of it. In this, however, they kind of just let you wonder around and really feel the environment. There's still aspects of the main game in it, but I felt like they were done better. It was also rather short but still immersive and the important variants were a lot more interesting. Definitely recommend this one.
For fans of the series this is probably an enjoyable game but, personally, I found myself very disappointed. I love the concept but the game drags on so much that I lost interest. Just when I thought I was getting close to the end it kept going and I found myself thinking, "seriously, I have to do this again?" If the gameplay wasn't so repetitive I might still be playing it.

The game is defiantly addictive, though pay walls are an issue sadly.
 Pretty fun to play with friends, a bit dull when playing by yourself.
This game is beautiful and amazing. The A.I is spectacular, the environments are gorgeous, and the story and relationship between the boy and Trico was very well developed. The only issue was the camera that was rather annoying when doing jumping puzzles but it doesn't make the game unplayable. I thought Trico was adorable and as for why people got annoyed at the A.I, it sounded like people didn't like waiting and were being impatient. I've mostly heard people say they're annoyed they can't do everything right away and seem to be missing the point. My advice? Focus on the story and the characters and don't put too much importance on the puzzles, because if you do you're really missing the point of the whole game. Puzzles are a nice back drop and game play to add with a good story but in no way does it replace it nor should it be the main focus when playing.
