SingStar Guitar

SingStar: Guitar is a karaoke game which adds the possibility to play a plastic guitar to the tune. The karaoke component makes no changes to the formula: player(s) sing into a microphone and the game gives points based on the performance. The only basis of assessment is if the correct note is hit with the correct timeing; the sung words or octave does not play into the result.

The guitar component works similar to the Guitar Hero series: the game shows what buttons the player should hit on the guitar. Points are rewarded depending on if the correct button was hit with the correct timing.
