Masters of Anima

Passing the Shaper trials to become a Master of Anima is one of the biggest honors in the life of a Shaper – one with the ability to control the Anima and summon Guardians. But Otto, Shaper apprentice, doesn't really care about this prestige. Pushing him to study is his fiancée Ana, the gifted and brilliant Supreme Shaper. As per tradition, they cannot wed until he passes the trials to become a Master of Anima. As Otto returns victorious from his first trials, he finds his home under attack, as a mysterious villain named Zahr steals Ana's essence and splits it in three parts. Zahr’s plan: to fuel his own Anima power and wreak havoc on the lands of Spark with fearsome Golems. With his own army of Guardians under his command, Otto departs on a quest to demonstrate he has what it takes to be a Master of Anima, rescue his fiancée's soul, and maybe even save the world...

Time Janitors and the weird ending aside, Midgar here is much, much better done than in the original. If the rest of the parts are this good, this Remake will be many times better than the original.

Best Borderlands game so far.

Best Resident Evil game and one of the best games ever made. Can't believe that this game blows away the rest RE games so hard and looks like a mid/late PS3 game. Only Dino Crisis 1&2 get close to this.

I don't think is a bad game per say, but I genuinely didn't like anything about it aside from maybe the level design. With every single "Wahoo Wihiii" and star that threw me out of the stage (making me have to backtrack and go inside the painting again) I died a little bit inside

The first 3/5 of the game were pretty underwhelming besides the magnificent boss battle against The End (I would say is one of my favorite boss fights in videogames, actually) but after that, when the Cobras are finally out of the picture and the focus goes back to an actually competent Ocelot, Volgin and The Boss it goes from a 6/10 to a 10/10. If only the first half (more or less) was as good and memorable as the second, I would've liked it a lot more, but the Cobras were very uninteresting and bland in comparison to FOXHOUND or Dead Cell (didn't really the fact they keep saying their names over and over either, felt way too cheesy. I get it, you're "furious" and you feel "pain", no need to beat it over my head). Overall pretty "Solid" game though.

Like people have said already, game of the decade easily, at the very least. Best writing in videogames I've seen in a long time coupled with lots of customization choices, build variety and memorable characters out the ass (Bloody Baron, Geralt, Ciri, Gaudin O'Dimm...). Almost 70 hours in, couple of undiscovered locations in Hearts of Stone and Skellige left and still Blood&Wine left and I adore this game with every fiber of my being. I would go as far as to say it has (almost) single-handledly restored my faith in videogames. One of the few of the acclaimed masterpieces I've played that is actually well deserved of it's praise

Going from Fallout: New Vegas to this crappy dialog wheel simulator (>Yes, >Sarcastic Yes, >No(Yes), >Maybe) is one of my biggest disappointments of the year. Instead of polishing the good ideas they rehashed the (okay at best) plot of Fallout 3, improved the graphics and took all Roleplaying elements that made both 3 and New Vegas enjoyable. Terrible

Easily the best Dark Souls game. Not a single noticiable dip in quality like DaS1 has after Anor Londo and is not the abomination of terrible bosses, hitboxes and bad level design that is DaS2. Probably the easiest in the series, but it also has by far the best designed bosses (Blackfire Freire, Lothric/Lorain) as well as bosses with their own little twist or gimmick (Ancient Wyvern, Yhorm, Walnir) instead of the same boring HugeMcLarge guys that do 2-3 big swings and leave themselves open for you over and over again like the previous entries. Looking forward to the last DLC, but I doubt it will change my mind about the quality of this game.

Best Ace Attorney game. Strong characters, amazing OST, incredible writing, breathtaking twists... Just absolutely incredible. I don't think this will ever get topped anytime soon.
