Very thoughtful game.
The story and characters were all over the place, but the game play in Conquest returns to the roots of the older Fire Emblem games, offering a challenge even to seasoned players. The Nohrian siblings are more genuine to the Avatar than the Hoshidan in all routes, and this game's experience reflects that entirely.
A fantastic game and probably the best of 2016 thus far.
Game is still terrible..
Launch was so terrible..
Incomplete game. What was completed though is very good, but Kojima was fired before the game was finished (clearly) and you will be left with an extremely sour taste. Very repetitive and starts being dull. Pales in comparison to its predecessors, the weakest story-wise. The game play was fun at first but eventually after having to do the same thing over and over and over you get sick of it. I'd really give this a 5 now, but within the first 30 hours of me playing I legitimately felt this was an 8-9. A good middle is 7. If you want this game, just know this : you will feel incomplete just like it. You know the missing things should be there, but they aren't. Disappointing. Depressing. A Phantom Pain.
