Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes is a 2D fighting game that combines characters from Capcom's videogames with characters from the Marvel comic universe, similar to Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter. The game takes place in a Marvel universe where Professor Charles Xavier asks the heroes to help him before he merges with the consciousness of Magneto to form the being known as Onslaught, the final boss.
The game follows the standard fighting gameplay, but different from X-Men vs. Street Fighter you now have to make up a squad of three characters instead of two. The other characters can be summoned for assist attacks and there is also a duo team attack to control two characters for a brief time, along with the ability to perform super moves where the characters team up.
Options include a straight arcade battle, 4-player tag modes (Dreamcast version only), a survival mode (much like Street Fighter Alpha 3) and a training mode. The PlayStation version does not have the 4-player tag mode and also reduces the second character to an assist role, but in addition introduces a "crossover" mode where tag-team play with identical teams is possible.
For Marvel the cast of playable characters includes Spider Man, Captain America, Venom, Hulk, Gambit, War Machine, Wolverine, Gold War Machine (secret character), Hyper Venom (secret character), Orange Hulk (secret character) and Onslaught (secret character). The Capcom side offers Chun-Li, Ryu, Zangief, Morrigan Aensland, Captain Commando, Megaman (Rockman in Asia), Strider Hiryu, Jin Saotome, Roll (secret character), Lilith-Mode Morrigan (secret character) and Shadow Lady (secret character). There is also a large number of special partners that can be summoned.

It's sad that seeing the game are more and more beautiful/detailed but the gameplay/story/characters worsen over time.... the hype is all about graphic nowadays

having played P3, P4 and then P5, the only problem I found is It become repetitive when you are not fighting... Same thing as previous Persona
Played this game for 10hours then dropped it. Where is the plot/story ????
beautiful game but not a GOTY... massive reuse of ennemies (like a JRPG, change the color !)
This game is certainly beautiful but character-wise.... lets not talk about it. The story is mediocre ait best. From chapter 1-5, you have no purpose, quests (main or side) are boring... After chapter 5, this is were it become a little more interesting...

This game is plagued with useless main missions as the main character is somewhat an idiot, trusting everyone and taking every requests. And so, The story doesn't advance much and is not very interesting to begin with. You stroll 5min on your horse for 5min of action.... Anyways, the western setting is kind of well done (even if the world feels empty) and the ending is amazing

The combat system is very clunky and not really enjoyable. But all 4 worlds, Jen and Scree, the story are great !
I had more fun playing this RPG than any FF I've played.... I prefered the deimos side through since the characters were more interestings

Way to ruin multiple characters !!!!! Why replace white haired Dante with that plain, tasteless dude ?? Vergil OMG.... The game is short, combo are bad, weapon are very limited

I can't rate it more than 7/10... This game has a very good story, OST, characters but it made me cringe !!!! The controls were f*cking horrible, I failed missions a lot because : a car ran over me (instant kill), some dude spawned behind me and killed me, the cops are horrible (GTA is nothing compared to), I ran out of time, Yasmin was killed, controls are shitty, didn't know were to go.... ah and the turn signals are bad. What an abrupt end too :/
Sorry but it's a very good game. The only difficult level was the last one but the race were alright and fun. I don't understand why it got mixed reviews. I finished the game with almost all characters
@netheous Open world is crap, it's ruining video games.... Everybody want to do that and ultimately, games are becoming bland. We will see that with FFXV. Anyways, I found this game great, with good theme and characters. DAT END :'(

One of the best storyline in a video game :('cause it's a VN xD ). Really liked it and got all the ending. Great atmosphere, characters and it's a game that makes you do some research on internet to know more about all the details and subtleties this story contains !!!!!. It got a sequel (Virtue Last Reward) but I don't have a 3DS :(
