Games I can't stop replaying

By ZeroTolerance June 7, 2018 at 5:10 AM

I grew up after any "golden age in gaming" (I'm mostly referring to the 80s), when I was little, in the 90s, I had no interest in gaming since I was an outdoor type who loved playing football with friends. Saying that, I have been around to see the PS1 develop into the PS2, the amazing graphics of the PS3 replaced by the gobsmacking graphics of the PS4. So with that tiny nugget of my personal history in gaming, I remember many a series starting such as the GTA series with that damn frustrating overhead view.

Sticking with the PS3 at the moment in my gaming journey, there are a few games that never fail to get played over and over again, I don't know why, I don't even know if they have a common theme but I will never stop playing the same missions again and again because I love them.

As you can tell from my username, chief among these games is Borderlands 2. A game that encompasses everything I love in a game: simple controller maps, shooting, hand-to-hand combat, cars and general action based gameplay. My 2nd game is: Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I know I will surely earn a scowl or two for saying this but I have never played the original Deus Ex game. Again with the shooting and combat, I love the hacking storylines and the futuristic look (it's a beautiful game to say the least).

Right now I'm replaying Sleeping Dogs, or as I like to call it, Asian themed GTA (I'm well aware of GTA: Chinatown Wars). Unfortunately, there will never be a Sleeping Dogs 2 for me to enjoy but I will be content with playing the storyline from the start a few times more. Guns, driving, police chases and Asia are a winning combo for me.

Last of all, let us not say more than 4 words about my final replay-able game, these words are: The Last Of Us.
