Ok, since I won't be seriously playing Vindictus for any length of time, I'll be posting some pictures of my bros and waifus (characters) on the blog. I'll probably still log into Vindictus just to power level newly released characters and get some free stuff from events but otherwise I won't be doing any new fashion designs anymore.

Here is my first waifu, MerryGate, she ma main and is a sword fiona.

Batman: Arkham Knight Tips

May 30, 2017 at 9:20 AM 0 comments

Just though I'd share some tips that people might find useful while I wrap up my new game plus run.

  1. If you use grapple onto a railing you can stay hanging instead of vaulting over by holding R1, useful for predator encounters.

  2. To quickly vault over railings or ledges while standing double tap Forward A+A, this will cause Batman to do an aerial sommersault.

  3. You can initiate a Fear Takedown on non-predator layout by throwing a smoke pellet on enemies, next fly into the smoke. There will often be a prompt to start a Fear Takedown which will instantly take down 3 to 5 opponents depending on upgrades.

  4. Minigunners on Predator should be taken down using Explosive Gel + Wall, Smoke Pellet + Environment Takedown, Disruptor + Mine, Remote Hack + Environment Explosive. The Voice Synthesizer will help tremendously. Regular takedown will not work, and it's only recommended to use beat down technique on the last one.

  5. For combat challenge maps, try to finish off your free flow by using Blade Dodge Takedown or Ground Pound Finisher. These 2 techniques net you a 100x or 75x multiplier to your score.

  6. Ways to take down a Serpent Drone:

  • Use the Batmobile's 60mm Cannon and aim it at the sky.
  • Glide high enough over the drone, there is a prompt to land on it and use Explosive Gel.
  • Use Disruptor to sabotage the gun, then fly into the search light to make it self-destruct.
  1. Electric Charge on stun batons will knock down the opponent.

  2. If you cannot do a predator takedown on the guy with Detective Vision Scrambler then you can use the Electric Charge on him to fry his Scrambler.

  3. Use Search and Destroy Combo on shields, it will make encounters A LOT easier.

  4. Use Distrupter on Medics especially on Predator if you are not prioritizing the Medic, this will prevent them from healing downed enemies.

  5. Don't forget to take the Freeze Grendade off the table once you finish Panessa Studios.

  6. I-Frame animations occurs when you use the Batclaw on electrified buffed enemies, you also get an I-Frame animation when you use an Aerial Attack on guys with shields.

Persona 3: Tricks

January 22, 2017 at 2:48 PM 3 comments

A list of tips and tricks that people may find useful when first starting out playing P3 or P3 (FES). I don't know if the advice outlined below will work on P3 Portable though. That being said here are some useful tricks that I found a little too late into the game, there shouldn't be any spoilers here.

  1. Use the P3 fusion site to find the correct recipe for the Persona you are trying to create, this won't work in The Answer since you don't have access to the compendium.

https://arantius.com/misc/persona-3-fes-fusion-calculator/#/list/level

  1. When a shadow is facing you, you can backtrack far enough away from the shadow until it's orange dot in the mini-map disappears. This will cause the shadow to turn it's back to you once you reach it again for an easy preemptive strike. Alternatively: you can also go to the menu screen and then exit out of it, and the shadows will immediately change direction. (OdysseyRPG)

  2. When fusing personas in the velvet room, especially with 3+ personas the final persona result will inherit some abilities from the original persona. If you don't like the "inherited" abilities you can re-roll them until you find a combination you like by deselecting them and re-entering them as part of the recipe.

  3. If you can't go to school for a length of time you can go to the shrine and use the fortune box to refresh or increase the social link relationship. This is important for social links involving some of the female characters.

  4. If you find the stairs early in the dungeon and are too lazy to level or explore the floor, you can get your team to explore and pickup equipment for you. The trick is to make sure there is no shadows on the mini-map otherwise, your teammate may get aggroed by shadows and waste time.

  5. Be careful if you choose to overwrite personas in the compendium, this is because if you use the P3 fusion calculator, some final results may be different from what was calculated because some of the preceding personas may be too high of a level to create the desired persona.

  6. Save your money, the equipment found in dungeons are usually always better than the ones bought from the police station.

  7. When fusing personas always tried to at least inherit Growth 2 or Growth 3, this is very helpful especially in The Answer.

  8. Don't be afraid to switch up your team if a boss is too difficult, this game needs you to be adaptable.

  9. On the shuffle victory screen, if the cards move off-screen, I find that 70-80% of the time the second card is an EXP card.

Cards will reorder in the order they were taken off the screen from left to right. (OdysseyRPG)

  1. Use the tactics combat menu to control your team's SP usage, you will need it.

  2. If an item says, it is "valuable", just sell it, it has no important use.

  3. Switch your team to "Stand By" when the enemy is down if you need to buy time, this means that the enemy can't act for the entire turn.

Dragon Age II: Orsino Full Retard

August 7, 2016 at 1:32 AM 0 comments

Spoilers

In regards to the story when taking the side of the mages, the one decision made by Orsino the first-enchanter of the mages is one of the most idiotic, I though mages were smart?. I had a geared and vicious team of Hawke (Rogue), Aveline (Warrior), Merrill (Mage) and Varric (Rogue). The templars were absolutely shredded to bits as soon as they entered the Circle tower, we were winning 😤

But then nooooooo Orsino decided to use blood magic and turn himself into a Harvester, wtf? 😕
