MVGL's Gaming Challenge 2019 - February 5th, Update

February 5, 2019 at 6:35 PM 0 comments

Hey! Just finished the game The Messenger which I used for my challenge 18) Play a game set in Japan. And I LOVED IT. It's a really nice (and long) game. Starts like a simple plataformer but then turns into a Metroidvania, which is a genre I don't use to play but still liked this one.

So, at the moment I have already completed:

  1. Play 10 matches online or an entire co-op campaign with another MVGL user. -- Overwatch.
  2. Play a game set in Japan. -- The Messenger.

I'm playing a bit of FF VIII for my challenge 6) and Kentucky Route Zero (on hold) for my challenge 3). Cheers!

MVGL's Gaming Challenge 2019 - 9/1 Update

Okay, so I decided to start with my favorite category which is number 8) Play a game from a company that released no more than 3 games. I previously mentioned Chasm but I played like 3 hours or so and I find it quite frustrating due to enemy patterns, the little healing you can receive in a whole run and the fact that each time you die you get pulled to main menu and have to load your last save which maybe was like 30 minutes ago and there is a whole bunch of things you lost over there. That's why I'm going to change my game from this category to The Eternal Castle.

Anyway, I'm gonna let myself chill for a bit and start with challenge number 3) Play a game that is 50+ hours long OR 3- hours long, and due to the fact that I don't wanna spend 50 hours or more I'm gonna choose Kentucky Route Zero. I read some nice reviews and it kinda caught my attention. Cheers!
